Dennis Vixie is the unsung hero of Blue Ribbon Sports/early Nike shoe design.

Vixie is one of the 4 co-holders of the waffle sole design patent.

Two of Vixie's handmade prototypes are included in this collection: 

*The Nike Waffle Trainer prototype (Shoes #2)

*The LD-1000 prototype (Shoes #3).

Vixie was my podiatrist and orthotician and made these for me by hand.

I am very sorry to report that Vixie died on March 10, 2023.
